Resident Engineer

NOW HIRING – RESIDENT ENGINEERS & SENIOR RESIDENT ENGINEERS (INFRASTRUCTURE AND WATER PROJECTS)

Our client is a leading consultancy delivering large-scale infrastructure and water projects in the UAE.

The Resident Engineer role involves overseeing the on‑site delivery of large water or infrastructure projects. This position requires strong technical expertise, on‑site coordination, and a proven track record in large‑scale projects. The role focuses on ensuring construction quality, safety compliance, and timely project execution in alignment with client requirements.

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to approved designs, specifications, and schedules.
• Act as the primary on-site interface for the client, contractors, and consultants on technical and contractual matters.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and consultants, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to address delays or deviations.
• Uphold strict quality control and ensure compliance with HSE procedures and project specifications.
• Review and approve site documentation, progress reports, and technical submissions.
• Identify potential risks on-site and implement mitigation strategies.

• Minimum 15 years of experience in managing large-scale infrastructure or water projects
• Experience with Tier 1 PMCs (essential).
• Strong knowledge of on-site construction management, QA/QC, and HSE standards.
• Proven ability to coordinate contractors, consultants, and project teams effectively.
• RTA or DM approved (preferred, but not mandatory)
