About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer to join our team and oversee project scheduling and planning activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in project planning, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring timely execution in compliance with contractual and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop baseline project schedules using Primavera P6 in line with contract requirements.
- Review and integrate schedules across Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning
. - Monitor project progress and update weekly/monthly schedules based on actual execution.
- Prepare planning deliverables such as WBS, Manpower Histograms, S-Curves, productivity reports, and resource loading plans
. - Track the critical path
, highlight schedule risks, delays, and recommend mitigation plans
. - Conduct delay analysis and prepare EOT justification reports per contractual guidelines.
- Coordinate procurement planning to track long-lead items, vendor schedules, and material availability
. - Prepare and present weekly/monthly progress reports to management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with project standards, specifications, and internal planning procedures.
- Support cost control and budget tracking by providing schedules aligned with forecasts and progress.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Planning Engineer
, preferably in large-scale projects. - Proficient in Primavera P6 and project scheduling tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
. - Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
