ADB SAFEGATE’s functional teams are integral to powering innovation and ensuring operational excellence across the organization.

ADB SAFEGATE is seeking a dedicated Site Engineer to join our Dubai operations. This is a critical field-based role where you will oversee the physical implementation of our airfield solutions. You will be the "boots on the ground," ensuring that our installations are executed to the highest engineering standards at major airports across the UAE.

Note:

This position is specifically open to UAE Nationals as part of our commitment to the Nafis program and the advancement of Emirati talent in the engineering sector.

• On-Site Supervision:
  Managing and supervising the installation of Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) and power systems, ensuring compliance with design drawings and safety protocols.
• Project Coordination:
  Acting as the primary point of contact on-site for subcontractors, airport authorities, and internal project managers to ensure milestones are met.
• Technical Problem Solving:
  Identifying and resolving technical challenges that arise during construction or installation to prevent project delays.
• Quality & Safety Compliance:
  Ensuring all site activities adhere to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) standards and local airport security regulations.
• Documentation:
  Maintaining accurate site journals, progress reports, and "as-built" documentation to reflect the real-time status of the project.
• Testing & Handover:
  Assisting in the pre-commissioning and commissioning phases, ensuring a smooth transition from installation to operational status.

• Must be a UAE National (Family Book holder).
• Exceptional bilingual skills in English and Arabic required. You must be able to communicate technical instructions clearly to multinational site crews and draft professional progress reports for local authorities.
• Bachelors degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of experience in site engineering, construction management, or infrastructure projects (aviation experience is highly preferred).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings (AutoCAD knowledge is a plus).
• Strong understanding of site safety (HSE) and quality control procedures.
• Familiarity with project management tools and MS Office.
• Mobility:
  Must hold a valid UAE Driver’s License and be comfortable working in outdoor site environments.

• Knowledge of ICAO or FAA standards for airfield design.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site labourers.
