Responsibilities- Inspect and monitor all electrical works including power distribution, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, ELV, fire alarm, and low‑current systems.
- Ensure electrical installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, project standards, and UAE authority regulations.
- Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and ITPs.
- Conduct regular site inspections, witness testing and commissioning activities, and verify inspection requests (IRs).
- Identify non‑conformities, issue observations/NCRs, and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other disciplines to resolve site issues.
- Monitor progress to ensure works align with approved schedules and quality standards.
- Witness and verify testing, commissioning, and energization activities.
- Participate in snagging, de‑snagging, and final handover inspections.
- Support authority inspections and approvals as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
- 8‑15 years of relevant experience as an Electrical Inspector or similar role.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience working with Consultant Firms in the UAE (mandatory).
- Strong experience in high‑rise and residential construction projects.
- In‑depth knowledge of UAE electrical codes, standards, and authority requirements.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, testing, and commissioning processes.
