Electrical Draftsman

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Draftsman to join the team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Electrical Substations and Overhead lines projects and be able to start immediately.

• Create detailed technical drawings and plans for electrical systems, including substations and overhead lines
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback and changes to project specifications
• Utilize AutoCAD and other drafting software to produce high-quality drawings
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards
• Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files and records
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project deadlines are met
• Assist with site visits and inspections as needed

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman
• Experience working on Electrical Substations and Overhead lines projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred
