The successful candidate will bring strong subject expertise and a proven ability to lead, develop and inspire a team of dedicated teachers.

• A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree in relevant subject area, plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE/PGDE/teaching licence or Level 5 equivalent specialism in Mathematics.
• Ability to teach up to and including A Level Maths – and preferably Further Pure Maths.
• Experience teaching the British curriculum.
• Proven leadership experience within a Mathematics department or clear potential to step into a Head of Department role.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to lead on curriculum planning, assessment and staff development.
• A consistent track record of outstanding teaching and learning, with evidence of excellent student progress and achievement.
