• Stay current with educational trends and integrate new teaching methodologies.
• Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to effective learning and debate.
• Organize field trips or guest speakers to enhance the learning experience.
• Provide support and guidance to students preparing for history and politics examinations.
• Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues on educational initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with parents about students' progress and any concerns.
• Support students in developing a lifelong interest in history and politics.
• Implement classroom management strategies to maintain an orderly learning environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in History, Political Science, or a related field required.
• Valid teaching certification or license for History and/or Politics subjects.
• Strong understanding of historical events and political systems worldwide.
• Experienced in developing curriculum and teaching lesson plans effectively.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students in a classroom setting.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in utilizing technology and educational software for teaching purposes.
• Commitment to professional development and staying informed about educational best practices.
• Experience in secondary or post-secondary education preferred but not mandatory.
