A prestigious international school in Dubai is seeking an exceptional Head of Secondary to join its leadership team for the 2025–2026 academic year. Our client is a well‑established private international school with multiple campuses across the UAE. The Dubai campus offers a comprehensive education from KG through Grade 12, integrating American curriculum standards with the IB framework to provide students with a balanced and globally competitive education.

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all academic and pastoral operations in the Secondary School.
• Drive student achievement and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
• Support and supervise Heads of Departments and teaching staff.
• Ensure effective curriculum delivery, instructional practice and assessment methods aligned with American and IB standards.
• Foster a positive school culture built on mutual respect, student wellbeing and international‑mindfulness.
• Lead school improvement initiatives, accreditation processes and staff professional development.
• Work collaboratively with the Executive Leadership Team, parents and community stakeholders.

• Master’s Degree in Education or Educational Leadership (or related field).
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a secondary school setting.
• Strong understanding of American and IB curriculum frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multicultural teams and implement academic improvement plans.
• Proven leadership in school operations, staff supervision and student achievement.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
• Experience in the Gulf region or international schools preferred.
• Western‑trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa) and hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree with a PGCE/PGDE (QTS).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.

• Tax‑free salary: AED 25,000 – 30,000 /month (depending on experience and qualifications).
