School PE Teacher

Due to the continued success of our GEMS Metropole School Al Waha, we are looking to recruit a Whole School PE Teacher August 2026.

• Deliver engaging, high‑quality PE lessons across the whole school
• Teach Academic PE at secondary level and support examination pathways
• Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment and reporting within the PE department
• Coach and support extracurricular sport in at least one core sport area
• Support whole‑school sporting events, including sports days and competitions
• Promote positive attitudes towards health, wellbeing and lifelong participation in physical activity

• Qualified teacher status (or equivalent)
• Experience delivering Academic Physical Education (e.g. GCSE, BTEC or similar)
• Ability to coach one or more of the following: football, swimming, cricket, netball or athletics
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Commitment to inclusive practice and student wellbeing
