Mac Gregor Black is partnering with a Leading Beverage Distributor and retailer in the Middle East to appoint a Senior Training Manager
, based in the UAE
. This is a senior role focused on building, leading, and elevating alcohol education standards across the business and its customers.
The successful candidate may come from hospitality (bars, bar academies, training schools) or directly from the spirits trade, but must bring strong people leadership, structure, and credibility in alcohol education.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and develop alcohol education and training programmes across the business
- Manage and coach a team of trainers and educators
- Design and deliver structured training for internal teams and external customers
- Oversee or develop a bar academy or alcohol training school environment
- Act as a senior ambassador for education, communication, and best practice
- Ensure training content is engaging, commercially relevant, and aligned to brand standards
- Work closely with commercial and brand teams to support customer activation
- Maintain high standards of communication, professionalism, and presence
- Support industry events, tastings, and education-led initiatives
- Proven experience in alcohol education or structured drinks training
- Background running a bar academy, training school, or large-scale education programme
- Qualifications such as WSET, IBD, or similar, strongly preferred
- Strong people management and coaching experience
- Excellent communication skills and professional presence
- Highly organised, structured, and confident operating at senior level
- Experience from hospitality or the spirits trade is suitable
- Comfortable working in or relocating to the UAE
- Salary up to AED 30,000 per month
