We are looking for a spots coach to assist in various aspects of our sports programme. A specialism in netball is essential and a strong background in either football and/or S&C would be desirable.

The role will contribute to curriculum development and adaptation with particular attention to the relevant sport curriculum.
Uphold responsibility for the monitoring and assessment of students’ attainment and progress.

Develop excellence amongst students by identifying exceptional learners and subsequently providing performance pathways.

Willingness and ability to attend and run extra‑curricular activities, squad training and competitions.

• To ensure that relevant sport curriculum is delivered in an exciting and challenging way and meets the needs of individual pupils.
• To have responsibility and accountability for standards, expectations, planning for and assessment of the class.
• Actively engage in Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
• To be a positive team member, share and work collaboratively for the benefit of teaching and learning within the team and the school as a whole.
• To foster the development of a positive and supportive ethos for academic progress and social development.
• To contribute to and participate in school events.
• To demonstrate a clear appreciation of the importance of parents, children, staff and governors as key stakeholders.
• To uphold and demonstrate the ‘Arcadia Values’ in all dealings with children, parents, governors, other staff and visitors to the school.
• To display a high standard of professional behaviour and integrity at all times, adhering to the line management structure whilst contributing to professional teams.
• To actively support the aims and endeavours of The Arcadia School.
• To be fully aware of the UAE National Agenda Targets for education and the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau framework.
• To have a sound working knowledge of the UK sport curriculum or comparable.
• To proactively support and contribute to initiatives and curriculum enhancements.
• To work within agreed time frames and deadlines.
• To support with administrative tasks as deemed appropriate by the Director of Sport, Head of Primary/Secondary PE or Head of Boys/Girls Games.
• Take a full part in the school’s quality assurance programme, and actively engage in responding positively to feedback.
• Be familiar with current coaching ideas, rules and regulations.
• Demonstrate initiative and be a positive role model to pupils.
• Be aware of and implement the schools’ Rewards and Sanctions Policy.

• Relevant sport coaching qualification is required.
• A minimum of a High School diploma is required (A Level or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience of teaching a wide range of children in commercial, club or educational environments.
