The Freelance Arabic Programme Coordinator and Instructor supports the launch and early-stage delivery of English Path’s Arabic language programmes across Dubai and Riyadh.
This is a part-time freelance role combining teaching delivery with light academic and programme coordination, designed to support programme quality and consistency while keeping operational overheads low during the initial growth phase.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:TEACHING & ACADEMIC DELIVERY
- Deliver high-quality Arabic language lessons aligned to CEFR-style levels (A1–B2 initially)
- Teach group and/or private classes face-to-face and online, depending on cohort size and location
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons ensuring all learning outcomes are met
- Assess student progress through regular testing and provide academic feedback
- Maintain accurate attendance records and basic academic documentation
- Use a variety of teaching methods and materials, including digital and online learning tools
- Support student placement into appropriate Arabic language levels
- Coordinate class schedules and level progression in collaboration with campus teams
- Act as the academic point of contact for Arabic programmes across both campuses
- Maintain simple academic records related to course delivery and completion
- Support onboarding of additional freelance Arabic teachers as the programme scales
- Support the initial structure, pacing and level descriptors of Arabic courses
- Recommend improvements based on student and classroom feedback
- Ensure academic consistency across Dubai and Riyadh delivery
- Attend academic meetings as required to support programme development
- Not a full-time management position
- No sales, marketing or recruitment targets
- No budget or P&L responsibility
- No operational, visa or HR administration
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Native or near-native Arabic speaker
- Proven experience teaching Arabic to adults and/or young learners
- Familiarity with CEFR-aligned language frameworks
- Ability to teach Modern Standard Arabic (dialect experience desirable)
- Experience delivering both in-person and online classes
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
- Experience teaching in the UAE and/or KSA is desirable
- Part-time hours based on student enrolment
- Some evening or weekend teaching may be required depending on student demand
- Occasional travel between campuses may be required
