Overview
The Arbor School is seeking an enthusiastic, nurturing, and reflective Foundation Stage Teacher to join our dynamic Early Years team. The successful candidate will create a warm, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where young children feel safe, curious, and inspired to explore the world around them. Through developmentally appropriate practice and an inquiry-driven approach, the Foundation Stage Teacher will plan, deliver, and assess high-quality learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework.
They will build strong relationships with children and families, establishing a supportive classroom culture in which every child is known, valued, and encouraged to flourish socially, emotionally, and academically. The ideal candidate is committed to celebrating the uniqueness of every learner; skilled at promoting early language, literacy, and numeracy; and passionate about learning through play. They will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity of provision, contribute to whole-school initiatives, and uphold the school’s mission, values, and safeguarding expectations.
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework using developmentally appropriate practices and an inquiry-driven approach.
- Build strong relationships with children and families to establish a supportive classroom culture where every child is known, valued, and encouraged to flourish socially, emotionally, and academically.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of provision, contribute to whole-school initiatives, and uphold the school’s mission, values, and safeguarding expectations.
- Promote early language, literacy, and numeracy through play-based and exploratory learning experiences.
- Foster an inclusive learning environment that celebrates the uniqueness of each learner.
- Native-level English language skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Bachelor’s degree with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching EYFS or Key Stage 1 in British schools
- A track record of outstanding teaching and learning, and an ability to create a caring and nurturing classroom environment
Remuneration: A competitive tax-free compensation package will be provided in accordance with the School's policy and UAE labour law regulations.
