Theoretical Instructor

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To manage the theoretical training section of the academy, ensuring that cadets are consistently delivered high-quality training, compliant with regulations, and aligned with organizational goals, by developing instructor training programs, monitors student performance, manages instructional resources, and proposes curriculum improvements.

• Oversees and conducts daily operations of theoretical knowledge training, ensuring instructional quality and regulatory compliance.
• Analyzes cadet performance data to identify and address areas needing improvement.
• Collaborates with instructors to integrate theoretical and practical learning effectively.
• Maintains accurate training and performance records for both students and instructors.
• Stays current with developments in aviation education, regulations, and instructional techniques.
• Introduces and applies modern teaching tools and technologies to enhance learning.
• Creates and updates course materials in line with standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintains the training reference library per operational guidelines.
• Upholds training and safety standards as required by flydubai policy and regulatory authorities.
• Coordinates health and safety induction briefings with the Safety department.
• Ensures that theory classes are delivered consistently with an annual standardisation programme.
• Creates training plans, maintain assessment systems to maintain quality.
• Monitors cadet progress and initiate remedial action if performance concerns arise.
• Recommends syllabus enhancements to improve training effectiveness.
• Fosters and communicates a strong safety culture within the department.

• Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
• Bachelor's degree in aviation, education, or a related field is preferred.
• Fluent in English (other languages an advantage)
• Minimum 3 years as a theoretical instructor
• Years with qualifications: 3 - 5 years
• Commercial Pilot License (CPL)

Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
