Biology Teacher – August 2026
We are seeking an outstanding Biology Teacher to join GEMS Wellington Academy, Al Khail from August 2026. Core Responsibilities and Expectations• Deliver engaging and effective Biology lessons to students at the GCSE and A‑Level levels.
• Apply cognitive science principles to enhance teaching practices and student learning.
• Actively contribute to the school community through extra‑curricular programmes and community‑based events.
Qualifications and Skills- Hold a BEd or equivalent Bachelor’s degree with PGCE/PGDE or similar pedagogy qualification.
- Proven qualified experience of teaching GCSE and A‑Levels.
- Ability to share exemplary teaching practices.
- Creative and enthusiastic approach, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students and parents.
- Track record of providing outstanding learning and teaching.
