PGT Grade 12 Home Science Teacher (female) – Food & Nutrition

This role involves teaching and assessing Grade 12 students in Home Science with a focus on Food and Nutrition. The teacher will deliver a high‑quality curriculum, support student academic success, and contribute to the broader school community.

• Teach and assess assigned students, tailoring instruction to individual educational needs.
• Deliver the full GEMS curriculum, demonstrating up-to-date knowledge of the subject matter.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons and create suitable teaching materials for diverse learning styles.
• Maintain accurate records of curriculum, attendance, resources, assessment plans, and progress reporting.
• Apply assessment data to ensure the curriculum meets each student’s needs.
• Utilize media and technology effectively in the classroom.
• Promote student well‑being, guide them on educational matters, and foster a love of learning.
• Communicate with school authorities, parents, and external parties where appropriate.
• Participate in performance management, CPD, staff meetings, and committees.
• Support planning and execution of school events and co‑curricular programmes.
• Model cultural awareness, manage behaviour, and supervise students safely.
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisors.

• B.Ed. or Bachelors in Home Science with Food & Nutrition subjects.
• Degree awarded by a Regular university (attested preferred).
• Experience teaching senior school students.
• Current residence in Dubai; sponsored visa holders preferred.
• UK‑enhanced DBS or equivalent police check required.
