Senior Ai Specialist

Education:

Mandatory

• Plus a Bachelors degree in Assistive Technology/Rehab sciences/Special Education.
• 5 or more years of experience in a special or inclusive educational setting or disability rehabilitation setting or in a corporate setting aligned to the field of education.

• BSc / BTech in Computer Science / IT/ Technology domain with a major / specialization in AI
• Plus a Bachelors degree in Assistive Technology/Rehab sciences/Special Education.
• 5 or more years of experience in a special or inclusive educational setting or disability rehabilitation setting or in a corporate setting aligned to the field of education.
• Masters degree in AI / Computer Science / IT / Technology domain with a specialization in AI
• Plus a Bachelors degree in Assistive Technology / Rehab sciences / Special Education.
• 3 years' experience in a special or inclusive educational setting or disability rehabilitation setting or corporate setting.

Diploma or Certifications in any one of more specializations highly desirable:

• To always ensure safety of the students as per the Safety procedures. To keep the concerned authorities and parents informed in case of emergencies.
• To maintain confidentiality of information about the students and their families
• To effectively implement and manage delivery of ethical and responsible AI services by planning and conducting activities and providing AI training and instruction, demonstration and implementation of AI goals for assigned students in classroom, across routines, group sessions and individual sessions. To implement students’ IEPs in AI by identifying, sourcing, employing and integrating appropriate AI tools, apps, educational technology tools, smart technologies, inclusive, mainstream and accessible AI technology tools, and by the use of accessibility features and technology supports.
  
  To implement adaptations, modifications and assistive technologies to improve access to learning for students according to their specific needs. To support and collaborate with classroom staff and team members to integrate AI in all routines and settings and ensure the implementation of digital literacy and online safety for the students. To prepare students for the digital world embracing AI, helping them build digital and tech skills they can use in education, vocation, employment, and in independent living.
• To maintain and update students’ records in an accurate, complete and timely manner, and prepare annual reports as per the Centre’s CSDP
• To maintain communication with parents through the online diary and through reports and meetings. To support parents in the use of AI at home
• To source and prepare materials for each AI training session and use appropriate technology resources with reference to the students’ IEPs and to develop their digital literacy skills
• To implement the ethodologies/approaches/techniques in alignment with the Al Noor CSDP and Curriculum
• To actively participate in AI dept projects and during the professional development activities held in the Centre.
• To maintain inventory of the assets in the AI dept
• To initate in special projects of the AI department. To implement adaptations and use of assistive technology with AI at the Centre
• To prepare and manage students’ schedules of AI sessions and adhere to the timings and to maintain a record of students’ attendance for AI sessions.
• To attend and contribute in the intra unit and inter unit meetings. To implement actions discussed in the meetings.
• To adhere to all administrative and professional policies of the Centre.
• To fully utilize the potential of volunteers and students on work experience programmes to enhance the training of students in the Centre.
• To guide/ mentor the assistant special educator in AI, the AI Specialist and Junior AI Specialist
• To volunteer in various activities including fundraising for the Centre as and when required.
• To work towards positioning Al Noor as a leader in responsible, inclusive and human-centered AI implementation for social good thereby contributing to the global dialogue on accessibility, inclusion, and innovation in AI education. To advance Artificial Intelligence upskilling for Al Noor staff
• To seek opportunities and stay updated with AI developments globally and regionally, follow new technology trends and upgrade professional and technical skills and actively contribute to professional development of the AI Department and the Centre.
