Applications are invited from experienced candidates with relevant educational qualifications for an immediate opening in one of our British curriculum schools as Primary English Coordinator. The core purpose of this role is to provide professional, highly effective leadership that will achieve outstanding results in the Primary English Department. He/she is responsible for ensuring student learning outcomes through maintaining the disciplinary code of conduct for students & staff, teaching pedagogy, and assessment practices that inspire high levels of engagement, achievement, and progress for students of all abilities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The Primary English Coordinator, under the guidance of the Primary Head, is responsible for improving the subject standards by providing guidance and support to all Primary English Teachers. She/He is jointly responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of the curriculum by adopting teaching methods that meet British curriculum standards. Responsibilities include lesson observations, conducting CPD sessions, assisting teachers in using appropriate strategies to deliver daily lesson plans, and conducting team teaching.
Additionally, she/he is expected to perform all general duties and responsibilities to achieve departmental targets and objectives.
