Responsibilities

• Deliver an innovative, research‑informed curriculum that develops technical proficiency, creativity, and performance artistry.
• Utilise specialist resources, state‑of‑the‑art facilities, and industry partnerships to foster students’ physical expression, choreography skills, and appreciation of diverse dance forms.
• Facilitate inquiry‑based learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and real‑world experiences to build confidence, resilience, and a strong foundation for further study or careers in the performing arts and creative industries.

• Hold a BEd or Bachelor’s degree with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent.
• Master’s degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Proven experience of teaching Dance from KS1 and above.
• Willingness to collaborate and share outstanding practice.
• Growth mindset and reflective, solution‑focused approach.
• Creative and enthusiastic teaching style.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students and parents.
• Proven track record of providing outstanding learning & teaching.
