We are looking for a passionate Social Science educator who is committed to inspiring a love of learning and contributing to the vibrant community at Dubai American Academy, with an immediate start. This is an exciting opportunity for a Social Science educator who is dedicated to nurturing curiosity, inspiring achievement and contributing to the success of every student at DAA.

• Deliver engaging and interactive Social Science lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
• Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies to inspire a love for Social Science and foster critical thinking skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Ensure continuity in the delivery of curriculum content.
• Differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and exploration.
• Participate in parent‑teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress.

• Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent specialism in Social Sciences.
• Proven experience teaching High School Social Science, preferably within an American/IB curriculum school.
• Strong knowledge of inquiry‑based learning and hands‑on Social Science education.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
• Strong desire to continually improve practice and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences for students.
