Dubai British School Emirates Hills is recruiting an outstanding STEAM Teacher, commencing August 2026, to join their BSO, and KHDA rated ‘Outstanding’ international school. This post is an exciting and unique opportunity for candidates from a range of backgrounds, looking to explore and expand their professional capacity. Students from Year 3 to Year 9 at DBSEH enjoy specialist STEAM lessons during which they undertake project‑based learning to investigate applications of technology, innovation, sustainability, entrepreneurship and the visual arts.
As we expand our school, DBSEH seeks an innovative and creative teacher with the skills and mindset to bring cross‑curricular projects to life!
Ideal candidates may be working in a similar role currently, however if you are innovative, a fast learner, and have a passion for igniting curiosity, your application is welcome. The successful applicant candidate may have a background or interest in science or technology, but the areas of focus as well as the age range to be taught are negotiable for the right candidate.
This role demands a high level of pedagogical creativity and the willingness and ability to plan learner‑centered, project‑based activities which allow learners to explore and apply their knowledge.
Taaleem, one of the largest education providers in the UAE, proudly celebrates Dubai British School Emirates Hills for our ‘Outstanding’ ratings, awarded by both the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau (DSIB) and British Schools Overseas (BSO). We are a thriving British international school, located in The Springs area of Dubai’s Emirates Hills delivering high‑quality National Curriculum for England education to over a thousand of students aged 3 to 18.
Our mission of ‘Enjoy, Aspire, Achieve’ perfectly captures the ethos of our great school, where students thrive in a nurturing yet challenging environment – able to achieve the best possible educational outcomes and flourish as individuals during the experience. It is this warmth of spirit that sets DBSEH apart, where every student, every member of staff and every parent can find their place.
Schools are often talked about as being ‘happy places’, but DBSEH is made up of happy people – happy to be respected, valued, and appreciated, given every opportunity to succeed in a way that is meaningful to them.
