Position: Primary (IB/UK) Teacher - Dubai - August 2026 (opportunity for teaching couple)
PRIMARY TEACHER NEEDED IN DUBAI - August 2026
Teaching couples are welcome to apply as there is a local hire position available that offers salary, medical and visa only
The current local hire teaches EY (FS1 &
2) PE and Music.

PYP experience preferred / if not UK experience preferred
Year 4

What do you need?
-Bachelors degree in the subject that you are teaching as this is a Ministry requirement
-Qualified Teacher Status - school really wants UK training if not IB experienced
-IB background is a huge plus

-Experience of at least 2 years but less will be considered by exception
-Open to a student centred approach and be willing and able to work in an international setting in which cultural sensitivity and language differentiation is a must
-A motivated, team player and inspirational educator who is willing to work beyond what is required and be part of a pro-active family of teachers and students

In terms of what we are looking for at this stage, we would ideally like to see candidates who bring experience and professional maturity to the role. Proven classroom experience and a strong understanding of high-quality teaching and learning are key. PYP experience would be fantastic. However, we would also be very interested in candidates who demonstrate a genuine passion for inquiry-based learning, practitioners who facilitate learning rather than direct it, and who enable students to take ownership of their learning through strong student agency.
