Job Purpose
Emirates Flight Training is a modern, progressive department that utilises Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) methodology in all our courses and is one of the few full Evidence Based Training (EBT) operators worldwide. Through continuous professional development and standardisation, you can expect to be trained and developed in the most up-to-date training methodologies to ensure you meet the standards required by Emirates.
As part of Emirates Airline’s growth, we seek experienced aviation professionals for ground-based roles as Synthetic Flight Examiners (SFE). This position involves conducting pilot proficiency evaluations using Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs) and overseeing ground-based assessments in accordance with GCAA regulations and Emirates’ standards.
- Conduct proficiency checks, skill tests, and assessments using FSTDs, in line with GCAA regulations and Emirates' standards.
- Evaluate pilot performance during recurrent, type rating, recency, and upgrade training sessions, ensuring consistency and objectivity.
- Complete and submit accurate examination reports and assessments within prescribed timelines.
- Identify performance gaps and recommend remedial training to uphold safety and competency standards.
- Provide feedback on pilot performance trends and training effectiveness to management.
- Support training program development and departmental initiatives related to pilot evaluation.
Qualifications
- Hold or have held a CPL, MPL, or ATPL license.
- Minimum 12 months experience as an active Examiner.
- At least 1500 flight hours as a pilot on multi-pilot aircraft.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
