In the role of Senior Specialist General Surgery, you will be responsible for delivering expert surgical care, overseeing complex cases, and mentoring junior surgical staff. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

• Perform advanced surgical procedures and manage a variety of complex surgical cases.
• Lead and mentor junior surgical staff and residents, fostering professional development.
• Conduct thorough pre-operative evaluations and develop customized surgical plans for patients.
• Provide comprehensive post-operative care, ensuring optimal recovery for patients.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in surgical techniques and technologies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care services within the facility.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical research as applicable.

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with completion of a residency program in General Surgery.
• Board certification in General Surgery is required.
• Extensive experience as a General Surgeon, particularly in a senior or leadership role within the private sector.
• Proficiency in performing a variety of complex surgical procedures.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide surgical teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients and colleagues.
