About the Opportunity:

A leading Islamic School in Dubai, is seeking a caring and experienced GP Doctor to join our dedicated healthcare team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well‑being of our students by providing a wide range of primary healthcare services, including:

• Routine checkups and physical examinations
• Diagnosis and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries
• Management of chronic health conditions
• Vaccinations and immunizations
• Pre‑participation examinations for sports or physical activities
• Education and guidance on healthy living habits

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments of students and diagnose minor illnesses and injuries.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for students, working collaboratively with parents and specialists when necessary.
• Provide preventative healthcare services, including vaccinations, immunizations, and health education.
• Manage chronic health conditions of students in a school setting.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for each student.
• Collaborate with school nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to student care.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of school health policies and protocols.
• Foster a positive and trusting relationship with students and address their health concerns with sensitivity.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a specialization in General Practice (GP) or Family Medicine (FM).
• Valid medical license to practice in Dubai, UAE.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a GP in a clinical or school setting (experience working with children and adolescents is highly desirable).
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence‑based medicine.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine interest in the well‑being of children.
• Ability to work independently and manage a patient load effectively.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in English (mandatory) and Arabic (highly desirable).
• Familiarity with Islamic values and principles is a significant advantage.
