Gynecologic Oncology Specialist

Description

As a gynecology oncology specialist, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive assessments, establishing accurate diagnoses, and developing personalized treatment plans that encompass surgical and medical oncological interventions. You will also work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive holistic care throughout their treatment journey.

• Conduct detailed evaluations and diagnostic assessments for patients with gynecologic malignancies.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that may include surgery, chemotherapy, and other therapeutic options.
• Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients for treatment-related side effects.
• Engage in surgical interventions and collaborate with surgical teams for complex cases.
• Educate patients and their families on diagnosis, treatment options, and supportive care resources.
• Participate in clinical research and contribute to advancements in gynecologic oncology.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• MD or an equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, followed by a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology.
• Board certification in Gynecologic Oncology is required.
• Current medical license to practice in the applicable jurisdiction.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical experience in gynecologic oncology.
• Demonstrated surgical competence in gynecologic oncology procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
• A collaborative team player capable of working in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
