- Develop solutions that effectively address the social, legal, and economic implications of the physical form; modify and/ or review drawings, construction documentation and detailing.
- Provide project or task management to develop urban design and planning concepts and translate them into clear and compelling graphic images.
- Prepare bids and proposals as part of marketing efforts to current clientele and to identify and attract new clientele.
- Providing project leadership, direction and business development in planning and urban design, together with project and client management.
- Use knowledge of New Urbanism principals, as they can be flexibly applied to existing operating facilities, and planning theory as it relates to the redevelopment of commercial/ retail development to research recent, similar planning and architectural projects in order to provide up-to-date ideas to Management.
- Independently manage project largely involving master planning/ urban design work; provide assistance to senior team members in managing large projects.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree or Professional degree in landscape architecture, architecture, urban design, planning or similar discipline.
- Excellent design, drawing and report writing skills in Urban Design and Master Planning.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience as a master planner / urban designer working on a variety of projects involving multiple disciplines
- Proficiency in Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite software packages is a must.
