Senior Architect​/Project Manager

This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented Senior Architect to step up into a broader project management role with one of the Middle East’s most respected integrated design firms, delivering landmark large‑scale projects across the region.

Our client is a global architecture and engineering practice renowned for delivering complex, high‑profile projects including super‑tall towers, hospitality, commercial and mixed‑use developments throughout the UAE and wider Middle East. From concept through to construction, they operate as an integrated, multi‑disciplinary team, combining architects, engineers, interior designers and planners under one roof.

The Senior Architect / Project Manager will work under a Project Director, managing the delivery of large‑scale projects (including high‑rise and hotel developments) while remaining actively involved in the design process. This role is ideal for a Senior Architect who already has some project management exposure and is ready to formalise that experience into a clear step up in responsibility, leading internal teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.

• Lead day‑to‑day project management on assigned projects under the guidance of a Project Director, ensuring scope, program and budget are met.
• Participate in and contribute to the design process, reviewing and coordinating design information across disciplines.
• Plan and manage internal resourcing, assigning tasks and monitoring progress for architectural and engineering team members.
• Coordinate with multiple sub‑consultants and external stakeholders (client, operators, contractors, authorities) to ensure timely information flow.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, look‑ahead programs and progress reports.
• Organise and chair coordination meetings, issue minutes and track actions through to close‑out.
• Support contract administration activities including variation/change tracking, RFIs and technical clarifications in collaboration with the Project Director.
• Monitor project risks and issues, escalating early and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Champion quality, health and safety and compliance with relevant codes and standards across all project stages.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (mandatory).
• Approximately 10+ years of post‑qualification experience, with a strong track record as a Senior Architect and demonstrable exposure to project management responsibilities.
• Proven UAE experience working with leading consultants or multidisciplinary design firms.
• Experience delivering large‑scale projects, ideally including high‑rise towers and/or hospitality projects in the Middle East.
• Solid understanding of all project stages from concept and schematic design through to detailed design and construction.
• Strong design literacy with the ability to discuss, critique and communicate design intent clearly to both internal teams and clients.
• Evidenced experience in programming, scheduling, reporting and project coordination (even if currently under a more senior PM).
• AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, MS Project and Primavera.

• Salary: 27,000–30,000 AED per month, depending on experience and relevance.
