Senior Technical Architect

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Architect / Technologist to join a dynamic award-winning multi-disciplined company in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the technical design and development of complex architectural projects. This position requires a deep understanding of technical architecture, proficiency in Revit, and experience with the latest building technologies. The Senior Technical Architect will collaborate closely with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, innovative architectural solutions while ensuring that all technical and regulatory requirements are met.

• Lead Design and Technical Development:
  Oversee the design and technical development of architectural projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
• Revit Expertise:
  Utilize advanced knowledge of Revit for the development of detailed architectural models, drawings, and documentation. Ensure model accuracy and consistency.
• Project Coordination:
  Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate and coordinate project components.
• Technical Specifications and Detailing:
  Develop comprehensive technical specifications, architectural drawings, and construction documentation.
• Code Compliance & Regulatory Knowledge:
  Ensure that all projects adhere to local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Quality Assurance:
  Review architectural designs and documentation for technical accuracy, feasibility, and compliance.
• Client Liaison:
  Interact with clients to understand project goals, provide technical advice, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
• Team Mentorship:
  Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and technologists, fostering skill development and career growth.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in technical architecture or architectural technology, including extensive work with Revit.
• Revit Proficiency:
  In-depth knowledge of Revit, including advanced 3D modeling, parametric design, BIM workflows (non-BIM specific), and creating construction documentation.
• Technical Expertise:
  Strong understanding of building systems, materials, construction methods, and architectural detailing.
• Building Codes and Regulations:
  Comprehensive knowledge of UAE and international building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

  Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex architectural projects from concept through to execution.
• Software Knowledge:
  Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant architectural software (e.g., Rhino, Sketch Up, 3ds Max).

• Ability to lead and manage a team, with experience in mentoring junior staff and fostering a positive team culture.
