Lead Concept Architect - Landscape

As a Lead Concept Architect - Landscape reporting into the Head of Landscape working from our Design Studio at the Al Hudaiba Awards office in Dubai, you will have the opportunity to lead landscape concepts across iconic developments, influence design strategy at the earliest stages, collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, and help shape Azizi’s evolving design language across communities, high-rise towers and luxury destinations.

Responsibilities include

• Lead the development of landscape concepts for masterplans, mixed-use developments, hospitality, residential and public realm projects.
• Lead the creation of visionary, sustainable, and user centric landscape concept that elevate the built environment.
• Establish clear design narratives, themes, and spatial strategies aligned with the project vision and brand.
• Produce high-quality concept layouts, sketches, diagrams, mood boards and illustrative plans.
• Ensure concepts respond to site context, climate, culture, sustainability and user experience.
• Coordinate with urban design, architecture, engineering and BIM teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Translate conceptual ideas into clear, buildable design intent for progression into preliminary and detailed design stages.
• Ensure compliance with local authority guidelines, environmental standards and client requirements at early stages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including landscape architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless execution of design concepts.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate emerging technologies and materials into design approach.
• Contribute to studio design standards, best practices and concept design workflows.
• Exceptional conceptual thinking and design storytelling ability.
• Strong skills hand sketching, diagrams and visual communications.
• Strong knowledge in design tools Sketch Up, Rhino, Lumion, D5, Enscape or equivalent visualization tools with the ability to lead concept modelling and visualization indepently.
• Solid understanding of landscape materials, planting principles and constructability (Concept Level).
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Here s what you ll need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field
• Should have at least 10 years of experience
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, Rhino or other software, with the ability to translate ideas into clear, compelling, and visually engaging concept design packages suitable for client presentations and internal reviews.
