Project Engineer - Architecture

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and monitor all architectural works including finishes, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, cladding, joinery, doors, windows, and façade elements.
- Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and authority regulations.
- Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, and samples.
- Conduct regular site inspections and issue inspection requests (IRs) and snag lists.
- Identify non-conformities, issue observations/NCRs, and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve architectural issues.
- Witness and verify material testing and workmanship quality.
- Monitor progress to ensure works align with approved schedules and quality standards.
- Participate in snagging, de-snagging, and final handover inspections.
- Support authority inspections and audits as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (mandatory).
- 8-15 years of relevant experience as an Architectural Inspector or similar role.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience working with Consultant Firms in the UAE (mandatory).
- Strong experience in high-rise and residential building projects.
- Thorough knowledge of UAE building codes, standards, and authority approval processes.
