Job Title - Building Architect About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Building Architect to lead architectural design and coordination for new buildings, renovations and development projects in the real‑estate / construction sector. The successful candidate will work across concept design, detailed drawings, regulatory approvals, and construction monitoring, ensuring that architectural intent is met while aligning with business objectives, budget, schedule and quality standards.

• Lead the architectural design process: from initial briefs, concept development, feasibility studies to detailed design, documentation and construction drawings.
• Produce high quality architectural drawings, specifications, 3D models and renderings using AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Sketch Up or equivalent tools.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, interior design and other disciplines to integrate architectural solutions into the building system and ensure technical alignment.
• Prepare and submit documentation for building permits, planning approvals, regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning, fire & safety regulations.
• Monitor construction phases: conduct site visits, review shop drawings, inspect works for compliance with drawings/specifications, ensure quality of finishes and address design queries or deviations.
• Manage project timelines, architectural budgets, material selections and specification of finishes to ensure designs remain within cost and schedule constraints.
• Liaise with clients, developers, contractors and other stakeholders: present design proposals, respond to client feedback, lead design reviews and ensure client satisfaction.
• Stay updated with architecture and construction trends, sustainable design practices, material innovations and real‑estate market dynamics; propose design improvements accordingly.
• Maintain and update architectural libraries, finish schedules, design standards and ensure consistency across multiple projects.

Bachelors degree in Architecture or equivalent; registration as an architect or membership of a professional body is preferred.

Minimum 58 years experience in architectural design and building projects, preferable within the UAE/GCC region in construction or real‑estate development.

Proven track record in delivering building projects (residential, commercial, institutional or mixed‑use) from concept through construction.

Strong technical knowledge of building design, construction methods, codes/regulations, detailing, specification and finishes.

High proficiency in design software:
Revit/BIM, AutoCAD, 3D modelling, rendering tools and comfortable with drawing production and coordination.

Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills: able to articulate design concepts and influence across teams.

Good commercial awareness: understands cost implications, scheduling, buildability and works collaboratively with project teams.

Fluency in English required;
Arabic language skills are an advantage.
