Design Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the Design Process: Oversee and manage the design process for all Interior Fit-Out projects, ensuring designs align with client requirements, project goals, timelines, and budgets.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with clients, consultants, and project teams to refine and implement design concepts that meet both functional and aesthetic needs.
• Innovative & Sustainable Design: Champion the integration of innovative, sustainable, and cutting-edge design practices in all projects to enhance quality, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a dynamic design team, fostering a collaborative, creative, and high-performance environment.
• Client Engagement: Serve as the primary design point of contact for clients, ensuring their vision is accurately represented and executed throughout the design and implementation stages.
• Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of design quality, ensuring deliverables meet project specifications and comply with local regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
• Budget & Resource Management: Collaborate with project managers to ensure design-related deliverables are achieved within budget and on schedule, optimizing resource allocation and cost-efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging materials, and cutting-edge technologies, introducing innovative design solutions to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

• Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Interior Fit-Out design, with a strong portfolio of successfully completed projects in commercial, residential, and/or hospitality sectors.

  Qualifications:
  
  Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree is an advantage.
• Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing design teams, with a demonstrated ability to handle complex, large-scale projects.
• Design Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, and other relevant tools, alongside a solid understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Client Relations: Expertise in presenting and articulating design concepts to clients, with excellent communication skills to foster strong client relationships.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities, with an eye for detail and the ability to balance creative vision with practical project execution and commercial objectives.
