We are partnering with a high-growth, insight-led organisation to appoint a senior visual leader who will fundamentally transform how the business looks, presents, and communicates.
This is not a traditional design role. It is a commercial, strategic leadership position for someone who can turn complex data, strategy, and ideas into clear, persuasive visual outputs that directly help the business win more work.
Role Purpose
Own and elevate the end-to-end visual expression of the business. You will be responsible for making everything clearer, sharper, and more persuasive—across data, strategy, sales, and brand.
Your work will directly impact RFP win rates, pitch outcomes, senior decision‑making, and client confidence
. You will set the visual standard for how the organisation thinks, sells, and communicates.
- Own the end-to-end visual direction of the company across all touchpoints
- Define, implement, and enforce a consistent, high-quality visual language
- Act as the internal authority on design clarity, quality, and impact
- Raise expectations around what “good” looks like — visually and commercially
- Translate complex data, analytics, and insights into simple, decision‑ready visuals
- Create frameworks, charts, dashboards, and visual narratives that senior leaders and clients immediately understand
- Partner closely with analytics and strategy teams to shape how data is told, not just how it is displayed
- Lead the visual strategy for all major RFPs, proposals, and client presentations
- Ensure all submissions are differentiated, memorable, and commercially persuasive
- Elevate brand execution across marketing, sales, product, and corporate materials
- Oversee design for campaigns, reports, presentations, invoices, and client‑facing collateral
- Ensure the brand consistently signals credibility, intelligence, and scale
- Partner with senior leadership to align design with business strategy
- Use visual thinking to clarify positioning, messaging, and propositions
- Push beyond “making things look good” into solving real commercial problems through design
- Act as a hands‑on leader and reviewer, not just a delegator
- Build, guide, and uplift internal and external creative resources
- Establish clear templates, workflows, and standards to improve speed, consistency, and quality
- Senior‑level experience in creative direction, visualisation, or design leadership
- Strong background in data visualisation and analytical storytelling
- Direct experience supporting sales teams, RFPs, pitches, or commercial strategy
- Experience in agencies, consultancies, media intelligence, professional services, or complex B2B environments preferred
