Aboutthe Role
We are currently looking for a Reservations Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing guest reservations, ensuring accurate and timely communication, and delivering exceptional customer service while supporting revenue generation and a seamless guest experience.
Responsibilities- Manage reservations accurately via phone, email, Whats App, Instagram, and other approved channels in line with SOPs
- Handle all incoming and outgoing calls professionally, following approved greeting standards and scripts
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menus, events, promotions, and restaurant policies
- Process reservation confirmations, amendments, cancellations, and advance deposits correctly in the system
- Respond to guest inquiries and handle complaints calmly and professionally
- Support upselling and cross‑selling initiatives to maximize revenue
- Analyze reservation trends and assist with reporting and forecasting
- Maintain accurate guest profiles and ensure data protection compliance
- Communicate effectively with management and the hosting team to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to grooming and hygiene standards
- Provide exceptional guest service and support the reception team as required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry and a comparable concept (preferred but not limited to)
- Proficiency in English, with a strong command of grammar, spelling, and composition; additional languages are a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills: prior experience with restaurant reservation systems is an advantage
