Role Overview

We are seeking an innovative and strategic Creative Strategist to lead our events and exhibitions portfolio. This senior role will drive the creative vision and strategic direction for our projects while managing and mentoring a talented creative team. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with creative excellence, bringing both big‑picture vision and hands‑on leadership to deliver exceptional experiential solutions.

Key Responsibilities Creative Leadership & Strategy
  • Develop and execute comprehensive creative strategies for events and exhibitions that align with client objectives and Rayqube's brand vision
  • Lead the conceptualization and development of innovative, immersive experiences that push boundaries in the events and exhibitions space
  • Define creative direction across all touchpoints of experiential projects, from concept to execution
  • Establish and maintain creative standards, processes, and best practices across the portfolio
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative approaches in experiential marketing and exhibition design
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary creative team including designers, content creators, and strategists
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages creativity and professional growth
  • Manage team workload, priorities, and resource allocation across multiple projects
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities
  • Build and scale the creative team in line with business growth
Client Engagement & Business Development
  • Partner with clients to understand their brand vision, objectives, and target audiences
  • Present creative concepts and strategic recommendations to clients and senior stakeholders
  • Translate client briefs into compelling creative strategies and actionable plans
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through creative excellence and strategic insight
  • Support new business pitches with innovative concepts and strategic thinking
Project Oversight & Execution
  • Oversee creative development from initial concept through final execution
  • Collaborate with production, account management, and technical teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Ensure all creative outputs meet quality standards, timelines, and budget parameters
  • Balance multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining creative excellence
  • Conduct post‑event analysis and extract insights to inform future strategies
Innovation & Thought Leadership
  • Champion innovation in storytelling, spatial design, technology integration, and audience engagement
  • Explore and integrate emerging technologies (AR, VR, AI, interactive installations) into experiential concepts
  • Contribute to Rayqube's thought leadership through industry presentations, case studies, and content creation
  • Build partnerships with creative vendors, technology providers, and industry innovators
Experience

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in creative strategy, experiential marketing, event design, or exhibition design
  • 3+ years in a leadership role managing creative teams
  • Proven track record of delivering award‑winning or high‑impact events and exhibitions
  • Experience working with major brands and complex stakeholder environments
  • Portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and creative excellence in experiential projects

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional strategic thinking with the ability to translate business objectives into creative solutions
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with experience building and mentoring teams
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
