Summary:As a Paid Media Content Strategist
, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of delivering high-performing paid media content. This role focuses on planning, coordinating, and optimizing digital content through strong processes, clear briefings, and close collaboration with internal teams and external partners. A core part of the role is analysing creative performance to understand what is working and what is not, applying a mindset of continuous improvement, and building a scalable paid media content system that consistently delivers best-in-class creative across paid channels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Digital Content Planning & Briefing
  • Anticipate upcoming paid media campaigns and proactively plan digital content needs across platforms (Meta, Tik Tok, You Tube, etc.).
  • Develop clear, actionable creative briefs informed by historic performance, platform trends, and campaign objectives.
  • Brief content requirements for shoots, influencers, creators, and internal teams, ensuring alignment with paid media needs.
Content Development & Creative Process Management
  • Own and continuously improve the content development process for paid media, ensuring efficient collaboration between internal editors, creative designers, and production teams.
  • Manage and collaborate with external content creators, agencies, and freelancers to scale output and deliver best-in-class paid media creative.
  • Edit and adapt content specifically for paid media placements, formats, and best practices.
  • Ensure content is optimized for performance while remaining on brand and visually compelling.
Approval & Delivery Management
  • Manage content approvals with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely sign‑off.
  • Organize and deliver paid media‑ready assets to the Paid Media team in a structured and efficient manner.
Performance Analysis & Optimization
  • Monitor content performance across paid media channels to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Re‑edit, iterate, and refresh existing content to extend performance and reduce creative fatigue.
  • Support A/B testing initiatives to understand what drives engagement, conversion, and scale.
Testing & Innovation
  • Partner with the Paid Media manager to run unstructured creative tests and experiments, informed by creative insights, best practices, and recommendations from platforms such as Meta, Tik Tok, and You Tube.
  • Apply lessons to continuously evolve content frameworks and raise the creative bar.
  • Contribute ideas that challenge norms and help create best‑in‑class, disruptive paid media content.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Paid Media, Influencer, Marketing, Creative, Production, and e‑commerce teams to ensure alignment.
  • Act as a connection point between content creation and media execution, ensuring creative aligns with paid media needs.
Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience in content development, creative strategy, paid media creative, or performance‑focused creative roles.
  • Strong understanding of paid social platforms and how creative impacts performance.
  • Hands‑on experience editing content for digital and paid media formats.
  • Experience working within influencers, UGC, creator‑led content or creative agencies as a strong plus.
  • Data‑driven mindset with the ability to translate performance insights into creative improvements.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally.
  • Passion for beauty, trends, and digital‑first storytelling.
