You’llshapepacing,emotion,andstorytellingwhilemaintainingtheshow’ssignaturetoneandvisualconsistency.
- Editfull-lengthepisodesend-to-end(multi-caminterviewformat).
- Buildthestory:structure,pacing,tension/release,andemotionalbeats.
- Syncandorganizemulti-camerafootage+audio;manageselectsandtimelines.
- Colorcorrectionandbasicgradingtomatchtheshow’slook(orprepforfinalgrade).
- Audiocleanup/mixingbasics(dialogclarity,levels,noisereduction) orcoordinatewithsoundifapplicable.
- Integrategraphics,subtitles/captions,cutaways/B-roll,andarchivalwhereneeded.
- Smartcroppingifneededthatwouldnotbenoticeable.
- Createdeliverables:finalmasters,socialcutdowns(if required),andplatform-specificexports.
- Maintaincleanprojectorganization(bins,namingconventions,backups,versioning).
- Collaboratecloselywiththereleaseandproductioncoordinator,producer,consultantaswellfornotesandrevisionsunderdeadlines.
- Ensureconsistencyacrossepisodes(style,rhythm,branding,technicalspecs).
- Strongnarrativeeditingskills(interview/story-drivencontent).
- Advancedproficiencyin
Adobe Premiere Pro (orAvid/Da Vinci Resolve —specifyyourpipeline). - Confidentworkflowwithmulti-cam,proxies,andsharedstorage.
- Strongunderstandingofdialogue-drivenpacingandemotionalstorytelling.
- Highattentiontodetail,deadlines,andfeedbackcycles.
- Fluentin
Arabicand English
(dependingonyourepisodes;addrequirementsasneeded).
- Experiencewithlong-formtalkshowsordocumentaryedits.
- After Effectsbasics(titles,lowerthirds,simpleanimations).
- Experience with Arabicsubtitlestandardsandreadability.
- Da Vinci Resolvecolorworkflowfamiliarity .
- Episodesthatfeelemotionallytrue,tightlypaced,andconsistentwiththe#ABtalksidentity.
- Fast,organizedturnoversandsmoothrevisioncycles.
- Reliabledeliveryoffinalexportsmeetingtechnicalspecs.
