- Conduct daily inspections for structural and civil works related to building projects (foundations, columns, slabs, blockwork, plastering, concrete works, waterproofing, finishing, etc.).
- Ensure all executed works comply with approved architectural and structural drawings, method statements, and material specifications.
- Monitor workmanship quality and highlight deviations through site observations and NCRs when required.
- Check formwork, rebar installation, concrete casting activities, and curing processes for structural elements.
- Inspect internal and external building finishes and verify adherence to project standards.
- Prepare daily and weekly inspection reports with photographic records.
- Maintain complete documentation for site inspections, approvals, and technical observations.
- Support the Resident Engineer in reviewing and commenting on ITPs, material submittals, and method statements.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to resolve site issues and ensure timely execution.
- Attend site progress meetings and report on inspection findings, risks, and delays.
- Liaise with local authorities (Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, etc.) as needed for project compliance.
- Ensure that building works follow UAE Building Codes, Dubai Municipality regulations, and relevant international standards.
- Ensure that safety requirements are implemented during construction activities.
- Verify materials delivered to site and ensure they meet project specifications before installation.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 7–8 years of experience in building construction supervision within consultancy or engineering supervision firms.
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in Dubai on residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use building projects (mandatory).
- Strong ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Excellent observation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with DM, DCD, and relevant Dubai authority approvals and standards.
- Experience in mid- to high-rise buildings.
- Strong knowledge of concrete and finishing works.
- Ability to handle multiple inspections and meet strict timelines.
