Summary
We are seeking a Cost Control Engineer to join our construction team. The Cost Control Engineer will be responsible for monitoring project costs, analyzing budgets, and ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
Responsibilities- Develop cost control procedures and prepare budget estimates for construction projects.
- Monitor project expenses and track actual costs against budgeted costs.
- Collaborate with project managers to forecast potential cost overruns and provide recommendations for cost‑saving measures.
- Conduct regular audits of project expenses and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
- Prepare cost reports, variance analysis reports, and other financial documentation as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience working as a Cost Control Engineer in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction costs, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in cost control software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders.
