Procurement Officer- Civil

The Procurement Officer – Civil is responsible for executing and coordinating civil procurement activities for ongoing construction projects. This role focuses on vendor coordination, order processing, follow-ups, and documentation
, working under the guidance of senior procurement and project teams.

• Procure civil materials such as cement, steel, blocks, concrete, formwork, waterproofing materials, and finishing items
• Prepare and process Purchase Requisition s (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs)
• Obtain quotations, prepare price comparison sheets
  , and support vendor evaluations
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and stores to understand material requirements
• Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations, deliveries, and documentation
• Ensure materials meet approved specifications and quality standards
• Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor files, and reports
• Support budget tracking and assist in cost control initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and audit requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• 3–6 years of experience in civil procurement within construction or real estate companies
• Experience working on construction projects is preferred
• Basic to good knowledge of civil construction materials and procurement processes
• Ability to interpret BOQs, drawings, and material specifications
• Experience in vendor coordination and follow-up
• Familiarity with ERP / procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Tally, or similar)
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Detail-oriented with focus on accuracy, compliance, and timelines
• Ability to work effectively in a site-driven, fast-paced environment
