Fuction Role.
Incharge of façade subcontractor works on site reporting to the PD/PM and Façade Lead.
Responsibilities- Manage the facade subcontractor's execution work and coordination of other related scopes
- Liaise directly with PD/PM and project team for successful completion of the facade packages as per main contract program of works
- In charge of coordinating and handling the subcon and monitoring the different tasks (engineering, procurement, production, delivery to site and installation, in addition to subcon’s manpower site requirements) in line with the main contract’s program of works
- Detail-oriented to ensure all potential variables are accounted for
- Ensure progress / workmanship and its compliance with approvals, project specs and quality standards
- Ability to plan façade construction strategy and methodology considering different interfacing scenarios
- Verify and track façade variation orders issued to subcon for compliance and timely execution
- Conduct regular site inspections with QC staff and identify potential quality issues and take corrective actions where necessary
- Attend meetings with project stakeholders and provide regular updates / reports to senior management
- Proactive with forward-thinking skills to solve façade potential problems by addressing technical, logistical, accessibility and contractual challenges effectively
- Knowledge of façade access systems, equipment, and related temporary works
- Adaptability to meet dynamic project demands
- Ensure façade package close-out stage successfully accomplished
- Effective project paperwork and contractual documentation management skills
- Strong leadership and management abilities
- Extensive knowledge of facade systems and materials
- Ability to communicate effectively with architects, engineers, and clients
- Project management skills to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address issues as they arise
- Attention to detail and quality control to ensure high standards are met
- Budgeting and cost management skills to keep projects within financial constraints
- Negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Understanding of safety regulations and compliance in the construction industry
- Time management skills to meet deadlines effectively
