Senior Quantity Surveyor

LACASA is seeking an experienced Sr. Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in construction tender management and tender evaluation processes, demonstrating their ability to manage the full spectrum of pre‑contract activities.

• Review and evaluate submitted tenders, conduct comparative analysis, and make recommendations for contract awards.
• Review bills of quantities based on drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
• Assist in selecting contractors and suppliers, ensuring the procurement process aligns with budgetary and project requirements.
• Participate in negotiations with contractors and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and competitive pricing.
• Draft and prepare contract documentation, including letters of acceptance, tender reports, and award recommendations.
• Provide regular updates and reports on the progress of tender processes, cost estimates, and pre‑contract activities to senior management.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying field with 10 to 15 years preferably relevant UAE experience.
• Strong experience in managing construction tenders from submission to final recommendation.
• Expertise in evaluating tender documents, comparing bids, and making recommendations for award.
• Proficient in preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets.
• In‑depth understanding of various contract types and procurement strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
• Demonstrates a proactive approach to resolving issues and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong accuracy in preparing and reviewing tender documentation, ensuring all details are precise.
• Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
