Job Description:

Quantity Surveyor

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: ₹73,000 per month

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial control for construction projects in Dubai. The role involves ensuring projects are delivered within approved budgets while maintaining quality, timelines, and contractual compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQs) for construction projects
  • Monitor project costs and control expenses throughout the project lifecycle
  • Evaluate tenders, quotations, and contracts from subcontractors and suppliers
  • Prepare interim valuations, progress claims, and final accounts
  • Track variations, claims, and change orders, ensuring proper documentation and approvals
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and site teams
  • Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project expenditure
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms, company policies, and local regulations
  • Maintain accurate cost records, reports, and financial forecasts
  • Support dispute resolution and negotiations related to cost and contracts
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3–6 years of relevant experience in construction projects
  • Prior experience in GCC/UAE projects is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, BOQs, and cost control methods
Required Skills
  • Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and market rates
  • Experience with quantity surveying software and MS Excel
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
