About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion, coordinating with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities, supervising contractors and workforce to maintain quality and safety standards
- Conduct regular site inspections and implement corrective actions as needed
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies
- Manage project risks, resolve issues, and make decisive decisions to keep projects on track
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to review and approve designs and specifications
- Manage project documentation, including permits, contracts, and change orders
What do we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct diverse teams
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and project management methodologies
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools
- Thorough understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the construction industry
- Familiarity with local building codes and construction practices in Dubai and the UAE
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
