OverviewWe are looking for a dedicated Helper to support skilled tradespeople on construction sites. The role involves site preparation, material handling, basic construction tasks, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assist skilled workers by providing necessary tools and materials.
- Prepare construction site by clearing debris and setting up materials.
- Load, unload, and transport materials across the site as required.
- Assist in mixing and pouring concrete, ensuring proper consistency.
- Perform basic construction tasks such as cutting materials and fixing temporary supports.
- Help install construction components under supervision.
- Monitor site conditions and report any safety hazards or material shortages.
The Helper should have a basic understanding of construction processes, site operations, and handling materials, tools, and equipment. They should be aware of safety procedures, site cleanliness practices, and the ability to assist skilled tradespeople such as masons, carpenters, and steel fixers. Prior experience in construction or as a laborer is an advantage, along with the ability to work under challenging site conditions.
A willingness to learn various construction tasks and adapt to different responsibilities is essential.
