Job Description of Sr. Quantity Surveyor
As a Sr. Quantity Surveyor at Eiger Marvel, you will be a key player in our project management team, ensuring the financial success and efficiency of our real estate projects. Your expertise will guide cost management and contract administration from project inception to completion, playing a critical role in our company's growth and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities of Sr. Quantity Surveyor- Prepare and review cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk analysis for proposed projects.
- Manage contracts and negotiate terms with contractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project costs and progress, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
- Prepare and present detailed reports to stakeholders and management.
- Conduct valuations and manage interim payments to contractors.
- Resolve disputes and handle claims with contractors and clients.
- Stay updated with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quantity surveying within the real estate and property industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in cost estimating and financial management software.
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
