- Care for their little boy (born November 2023) with a mix of shared care and sole charge, in a fully staffed household.
- Support the newborn baby girl (born October 2025) who is already in a good routine and has maternity nurses on rota until the end of June 2026.
- Create and continue a home-based curriculum encompassing the EYFS and Montessori philosophy to prepare the child for school, with a strong emphasis on developmental and educational focus.
- Possess a strong educator background (ideally Montessori) and be willing to start the little boy at nursery in September if appropriate.
- Lead educational activities at home, expose the child to varied learning opportunities, and encourage language development.
- Engage in outdoor activities to promote physical confidence; a musically talented nanny (e.g., able to play the piano) is advantageous.
- Manage all nursery duties, including preparing fresh nutritious meals, conferring with weaning stages for the baby, and keeping children’s areas organised and up to date for their age and stage.
- Be a team player in a fully staffed household, with good communication skills.
- Plan activities suitable for Dubai’s climate, including indoor options when outdoor activities are restricted by heat; demonstrate cultural awareness in attire and behavior within a family home.
- Travel with the family (US, India, Europe) as required and have experience of travelling with families.
- Preference for Norland-trained candidate.
- Experience with toddlers and babies under 1, with at least 3 years in previous roles.
- Strong educational background with Montessori experience preferred.
- Ability to maintain a home-based curriculum (EYFS/Montessori) and educational focus.
- Energetic, proactive, positive, organised, warm, and able to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to relocate to Dubai or already reside there; comfortable with a 24-hour on-duty pattern and two weeks on/off schedule.
- Flexible to the creation of an overseas travel rota for the right candidate (1 month on/off possible).
- Working hours:
2 weeks on / off, 24 hours on duty when on shift. - Accommodation provided in the family home (bedroom + ensuite).
- Frequent travel required (US, India, Europe).
- Driver not required.
- Family has one friendly dog.
The family are open to discussing overseas (travel) rota with 1 month on/off for the right candidates. The family will arrange visas as required.
