Why This Role Matters

Purchase Assistant helps keep projects moving by ensuring materials and services are purchased and delivered on time. By supporting smooth procurement processes, it reduces delays, controls costs, and helps project teams work efficiently.

What You'll Drive
  • Assist in the preparation and administration of all purchasing activities for materials and services, including:
    • Receiving Purchase Requisition s (PRs)
    • Issuing Requests for Quotation (RFQs)
    • Preparing Purchase Orders (POs) and coordinating with vendors
    • Following up on deliveries and payments
  • Support the Purchasing Team / Purchasing Supervisor in preparing Purchase Orders and departmental reports.
  • Assist in expediting material deliveries to ensure timely arrival at project sites.
  • Prepare internal documents such as memos, reports, bid analyses, vendor creation forms, and other procurement-related files.
  • Coordinate with project sites and internal departments regarding open POs, pending issues, and status updates.
Qualifications

You're a Great Fit if You Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar procurement/purchasing role within construction companies
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and vendor‑management skills
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and ERP systems is an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
