Manager – Business Development - UAEN

The role supports the execution of the company’s commercial expansion strategy by identifying, assessing, and advancing new business initiatives across the company’s mobility ecosystem. This role plays a key role in market development, pipeline building, and cross-functional coordination to support new projects and service lines.
Key Accountabilities- Source and develop business leads aligned with the company’s commercial and mobility strategies.
- Conduct feasibility analysis and prepare commercial proposals for new opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with prospective partners and public sector stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal departments to evaluate market-entry and partnership models.
- Monitor commercial KPIs and contribute to business forecasting and planning.
- Provide actionable insights and regular updates for senior management and stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
- Support the senior management in executing strategic initiatives and negotiations.
- Assist in evaluating market demand, customer needs, and competitor strategies to accelerate market penetration.
- Manage in identifying emerging trends, market gaps, and potential business opportunities to conduct thorough market research and analysis.
- Support driving strategic growth and fostering partnerships to expand revenue streams.
- The responsibilities are not limited to the above and may include additional tasks/projects as assigned by the line manager.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in business development, market expansion, or strategic partnerships, preferably in transportation, mobility services, or public-private ventures, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or mid-management role with exposure to cross-functional project coordination and stakeholder management.
- Experience in evaluating new business models, partnership negotiations, and commercial feasibility assessments is preferred.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, economics, strategic management, or a related field is required.
- Master’s degree in business administration or in a related discipline is an added advantage.
- Professional certifications in business development, strategy, or project management, such as Certified Business Development Expert (CBDE), Strategic Management Certification, or Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
